NERAX is organized by CASC, the Cask-Conditioned Ale Support Campaign. CASC is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to boosting awareness of and demand for Real Ale in New England.
The New England Real Ale Exhibition, benefiting the VFW, is held each spring at the George Dilboy Post, Davis Square, Somerville, MA.
NERAX 2009 was our 13th Festival. As in 2008, we offered about 80 firkins of Real Ale. Half U.K. beers from England, Scotland, and Wales; and half American beers from New England. All the beers are cask-conditioned, served by gravity or hand-pump.

CASC thanks you all for making NERAX so popular.
The sales of the limited number of advanced admission tickets
is now closed. However there will be a Large Number of admission tickets available at the door for every session.
Unfortunately there are times when we have more customers than we have capacity in the hall.
At our busiest times individuals who fail to gain entry by 6:30 p.m. may face a wait of 90 minutes. On the other hand we rarely if ever have lines after 8:30 p.m.
Accordingly, on busy evenings when the hall reaches capacity and the Cash Sale line stops moving,
we will offer an allocation of 8:00 p.m. entry tickets. The 8:00 p.m. ticket entitles the holder to leave the lobby and return at 8:00 p.m. to join the Priority Entry line. These holders will bypass the cash line when they return.
In practice we find that the wait to get in after 8:00 p.m. is about 15 minutes.
For further inquiries during festival hours, you may call the Line Status Hot Line at
(207) 615-9660.
For those of you that have any questions about ticket sales, whether it's about at the door sales or advanced admission to the festival, please send them to sales@nerax.org.
